Ugh... I'm soooo TRIED!!!
Funny thing is ... I haven't done much today. Went out to get books for University, which by the way is alot!
I mean, when people said that you had to read books if you wanna do an English Degree I was up for it. I've read alot of books in my time but as soon as I got that reading list from uni..... jeeze it's ALOT!!! I've got about 30 books to read for the 1st year alone. I dunno... I wasn't really expecting that. Yup, they really caught me out lol.
But anyways the main focus of today was to try and get the compulsory books before uni starts. I pretty muich have to start reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh and a few others. All of these books are pretty easy to get but when a uni requests for specific editions of books, the drama begins. Now, I'm in a position where I don't have the books yet seeing as the booksellers don't have the editions that my uni want. For now I'm ok. But Pride and Prejudice is a long book, so I need to start on that.
Uni starts in TWO weeks, and I'm frankly not prepared yet.
Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail... ah 진짜!

Lol I remember when I drew this picture, it actually took me DAYS to do. I drew this because I remember my art teacher was hassling me over the fact that I was slacking in art and how I wouldn't get a decent grade for Art G.C.S.E, so I drew this to not only prove to her but to myself that my talent was still there.. I still can't believe I have this. I'm actually really proud of it.... this and some other pieces (which I might upload) got me an A in Art G.C.S.E.
Wooohoooo!

One of the worst things I could ever do to a person is to give them apperance that they have a chance when I know they don't.
So, this goes out to you....
For leading you on and making you think you had a chance ...i'm sorry.
For arousing humiliation and other feelings within you... I'm sorry.
I hope life turns out alrite for you.

Zimbabwe's Forgotten Children....
Just about 5 mins ago, I watched a BBC 2 documentary on the deterioration of Zimbabwe since 2005 and the children that have been left to cope as its country falls.
As usual, any news that broadcasts any kind of devastation is incredibly disheartening... but we shouldn't forget where help is needed most.
Even though our lives maybe seem unbearable and strenuous, there are others out there who will die at the chance of having an inkling of what we have. Our constant sayings of "we take this and that for granted" are just words that are said without thinking about those who need what we take for granted.
I hope that as both you and I grow up in this life, we don't forget those that need us.
I pray that I don't forget. I pray that I don't. I've always said that I wanted to help people.. I hope that in the future, my words won't be in vain.

Hey everyone!
I've finally reached a decision.
This is possibly the hardest thing I've ever had to do in terms of figuring out my life.
I've decided upon going to a different university altogether, in order to be practical. I know my heart was sent on that dream university and I know I wasn't far from it but my mind knew that things just wouldn't work out as well as could've.
It was a sacrifice but hopefully in the long it will be worth it. In all honesty, I feel better with the decision I've made. I can no longer feel that heaviness in my chest, indicating that something's just not right.... You know what I mean?
I know the Lord ha something for not only me but my family and friends and for you guys, out there, that stumble upon this blog.
I believe that things happen for a reason, whether it be bad or good. As a result, we learn a lesson from them all.
Our experiences, our beliefs are what shape us. As we grow we discover who we really are and our course an aim in life. Lol it is what is....
An this.... Is what it is for me. It's me and the Lord for the long run.

Life.....
Life most definitely has ways of throwing you off course. One moment you were on the right path; after so many bumps and twists you could finally see your path clearing and looking more straight with so much more potential. I thought I had that; I did. However, nothing good ever lasts for long as they say and now... my path looks just a bumpy as it did back then.
I had planned to go to a decent university and pretty much a great one for my course: the University of Kent. Back when I took my A-Levels, my English Literature teacher had told me that the University of Kent was well known for providing a good English literature degree course. I decided to have a look and do some research, and it was true. For me, it was great and it was the University my heart had fluttered upon.
Now having found something my dream could thrive on, I was faced with a hurdle that could bring my dreams crashing down. I had to try and achieve the grades that the University had asked for and knowing the subjects I had taken, it was going to be a long, pressurising year in order to gain admission.
But I did it! When results day came around, the sky couldn't have been a brighter blue and I knew, as soon as I saw that white sheet that, my hard work had paid off and the Lord had favoured me.
I dwelled in the notion of actually be known as University of Kent undergraduate student, studying English Literature. I could see my dream coming into reality... the world of journalism was there waiting for me at the end of my path. I was just a few steps closer to it. I was happy...very happy.
Usually with life, things aren't always as they seem. 4days later I realised that the University's accommodation was too much, to the point that I wouldn't have enough to live on. The Student Loan I had acquired was too much and both my parents I knew that the final debt would be too much especially now in my country's economic situation. However I had another alternative to this. Instead of going through months of not knowing how to survive (if you would put it) and raking huge sums of debt, I could stay in my home and go to a local University (not of the same prestige as my current one) and do an English Literature course.
Hear I am a day later.. the present day and I am in limbo with my decision.
Sometimes sacrifices must be made but... can I make this one?
-------------------------------------------------
It a shame that we go through hardships and challenges... but isn't that what makes us who we are in the long run? To know that we've overcome these obstacles, to know that through PRESSURE, TENSION and DISCIPLINE we'll become the person we can be.
It is all up to us. What we make if our lives and how we live it... that should be what matters.

Rain won MTV'S Biggest Badass Star Award!
OMO!!!
I'm so PROUD! Rain definently deserved to win this award, with all his hard training for the film "Ninja Assassin" he definently earned it.
If you guys still don't know Rain (Jeong Ji hyun) .... check this out...
He's known as "Korea's World Star" in his home conutry of South Korea, as he's successfully broken out into the US scene with two Hollywood movies to his name "Speed Racer" and as you know "Ninja Assassin". He's featured in about 3 CNN interviews, the most recent shown in November 2009 onTalk Asia when he showcased his tour "Legend of Rainism".
The "Legend of Rainism" Tour was such a hit that it landed it's own show in the Caesar's Palace Las Vegas in December of 2009.
If you guys are still not satisfied, check out his multiple mv's; starting from the most recent "Hip Song", "Love Song" from his new album Back to the Basic "Rainism" and "Love Story" to back in the days with "It's Raining", "I'm coming" and "Bad Guy" which started of his career with a bang.

Too many exams.. just TOO MANY EXAMS!!!
So it's that time of year where the UK nation is under pressure to get the best grades they can achieve. For me, this is the most overwhelming year, in my years of being on this earth. I, personally, have never been so stressed out and panicky over these exams in a very long time.
Why?
Because this is my future. Everything is down to me. The moment that pen goes to paper and the ink starts spilling out, my future will reveal itself through my hands. In that 2 hours of writing, whether i'm ill or tired or sad or what not, whatever my mind decides to conjure and whatever my hand starts to scribble down is what is going to get me that desired place in the University of my choice.
If anything... I think my future depends on this. These exams are the path to who i may potentially become and who i may potentially not become.
Can I say "I'm ready"?

Age = Maturity...?
Can you really say, that as someone gets older they become more mature?
Is it really true that maturity comes with age?
What do you think?

First blog of a blogging series... influenced by?
So this is the first blog I've ever created since I've discovered the internet.
I'm pretty excited to be honest... expressing myself, releasing a whole load of baggage I probably would've kept inside.
I actually got influenced by Ask a Korean!
His or her's Blog is pretty interesting and, as expected, Ask a Korean! blog made me want to start a blog.
So here it is ... the start of a blogging series!
